At Greyhound Real Estate, we work closely with you, the Seller, to negotiate a total compensation amount to be paid at closing. This amount is divided between my Brokerage Firm and the Brokerage Firm working with the Buyer. All parties agree to disclose this compensation in the Contract to Buy and Sell. If the amount you agree to pay is less than what the Buyer negotiated with their Agent, the Buyer may be responsible for the difference.

You have the flexibility to set the maximum amount you’re willing to compensate the Buyer’s Brokerage, which is negotiated in the Contract to Buy and Sell. This approach ensures transparencyand fairness, protecting your interests while facilitating a smooth transaction​

Alternatively, you can choose not to offer any compensation to the Buyer’s Brokerage, placing the responsibility on the Buyer to pay their own Brokerage. This may limit the pool of potential buyers, as many may not have additional funds to cover their Agent’s fees. However, it provides a clear and upfront financial arrangement.
